I have a gift card I haven't used yet from your old site. Can I still use it?
Absolutely! We have uploaded all sold gift cards to our new site, so you should have no problem using the same code you have!

I created an account on your old site. Do I need to create a new account?
Yes, you will need to create a new account with us. Unfortunately, there wasn't sufficient information collected to move your account over.
The good news... it's pretty simple to create a new account! Just click on the little person icon on the top right corder of your screen and follow the prompts.
Can I find you on social media?
You can find our social media links in the footer of our website which will take you directly to our page.

I can't find what I'm looking for. Do you take orders?
We absolutely love to hear what our customers are looking for and keep a running list of titles and authors to give us an idea what to hunt for. We also try our best to order new copies from our distributer if that is something the customer wants.

What is your return policy?
Used books are all final sale. If you are unhappy with your purchase please reach out to us with your reasoning. This will allow us an opportunity to try to make it right and assist us with future product selection. Brand-New Bargain Books and Giftware can be returned within 30 days from purchase. Return shipping is at the purchaser’s expense. For local returns, please contact us to discuss arrangements.
What shipping method do you use?
We understand how frustrating it can be to live in rural Manitoba, only to get a call from the distribution depot an hour away indicating they do not deliver to your area. For this reason, along with our desire to support local, we will always offer Canada Post shipping.
Hosting our new website on Shopify allows us the opportunity to offer other shipping options, giving the customer the opportunity to choose their preferred or cheapest option.
Do you offer free shipping?
We are super excited to share that we can now offer free shipping on orders over $100, Canada wide,
How do you determine your shipping rates?
The shipping rates are calculated by the vendor based on location, weight, package size, and chosen delivery timeframe.
Our site is hosted on Shopify which does give us the advantage of being able to offer reduced shipping rates through their partnership agreements with vendors. These discounts are automatically applied at checkout.
I live close to Ninette, MB, can I just pick up my order?
We're glad you asked! We have now partnered with Secret Seconds N' More where you can pick up your orders during their regular hours. There is no fee for this service! Choose 'Local Pick Up Ninette' at checkout to take advantage of this option!
Are there pick up options for other towns?
We are very excited to have establisted two additional partnerships so we can now offer pick up points in both Brandon and Killarney as well! At check out, choose store pick up and choose your location:

Local Pick Up (Killarney): The Oak and Owl Cafe
Please refer to these local locations for their regular business hours before placing your order to ensure you will be able to pick up your order within the pick-up window. We do our best to keep this information accurate at checkout but it may not always be accurate.

I've run out of room to store my books. Can I sell you my books that are in excellent condition?
We actually HAVE recently started rescuing previously read books from our customers! This said, as much as we would love to help you out with all of your books, we do have limited space in our office. For this reason we need to be very intentional with our inventory.
Strict criteria we consider when hunting for our inventory include but are not limited to: condition, title, genre, release date, and our existing inventory. When approached, we are very up-front with what we can offer based on these factors and our price points for our products.

Why do some books have stock photos and some books are photos you have clearly taken? That's kind of weird.
We only use stock photos on our selection of Brand-New Bargain Books.
For previously read books, we prefer to use original photos of the book you will actually receive. This is our way of showing our customers the true, excellent condition of the books we carry!
